How do Northern Cardinals behave?
Cardinals are non-migratory birds.Because cardinals are songbirds, the male uses a call to attract a mate.Unlike most songbirds, the female also sings. In the first
sunny days of late winter, you may hear the cardinal's song which sounds like
"cheer,cheer" or a "chink" sound.
